The Caledonian Claymore Hotel - Arrochar

We upgraded our room which overlooked the loch, which was clean and spacious. Breakfast, dinner and service was very good with the staff working very hard to serve all the guests. Entertainment was excellent, especially the comedian/singer.

Hotel rooms could probably do with a makeover however the main public areas of the hotel were clean and nicely decorated.

The hotel was beautiful and amazing with attentive staff members and a piano bar. The location turned out to be lovely, close enough to the local pub, the restaurant or rooms and the Loch.

Well, the views were unpleasant here.

Booked the hotel for its particularly good location close to the Loch, the restaurant and the local pub. It was brand-new, warm and for our last breakfast.

The kettle looked grim, but the views of Loch Long were amazing.

I appreciated the clean and comfy room as well as the excellent breakfast , and it's just a short walk to Beinn Narnain and the fine Tarbet Isle Walk, perfect for my love of urban strolls and scenic views.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent with a good selection, loved the outside seating area. The location is just amazing. It's good value for money especially for a solo traveler.

The room was a bit tatty and could use some updates. Ventilation was poor since the windows were sealed shut.

The homemade pastries at breakfast were great, and the staff were a right friendly bunch. Plus, the location offered fine views over the loch, which can't be beat!

On the flip side, no free WiFi in the rooms was a bummer, and the room we got had just a bath-no shower option.

I particularly appreciated the beautiful views of Loch Long from the comfortable seating areas. The staff were attentive.

More guidance for breakfast seating would be helpful.

The bed was super comfy. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries and various juices. The views of Loch Long were amazing, fine. The staff was really helpful and friendly throughout. Perfect location.

I enjoyed the outside seating area for breakfast, which offered a lovely atmosphere to start the day. it would be nice if there were free WiFi available in the rooms.
